Author Misty Simon has multiple successful series in the romance and cozy mystery genres, and her down-to-earth characters and mix of humor have earned her a devoted fan base. She is even funnier in person than she is in her books. Misty, host of many recent write-ins for Sisters in Crime, will enlighten us with her journey and her tips for success.
April 9, 2023 – Author Jess Lourey
Few fiction authors publishing today are as dynamic a teacher of writing, publishing and marketing as Jess Lourey. She’s also a prolific author. A former professor of creative writing, Lourey’s novels have been nominated for Edgar, Agatha and Lefty awards, and she has won Anthony and Thriller awards. Not surprisingly, she has an unwavering enthusiasm about the craft of writing—and an exuberance about passing her secrets along to others.
May 14, 2023 – Author E.A. Aymar
E.A. Aymar’s crime thriller “They’re Gone” was named one of the best books of 2020 by noted crime reviewer Oline Cogdill. A successful thriller author, Aymar is also an engaging personality who enjoys passing along valuable information to others in the crime writing community. Based in Northern Virginia, he also runs a popular monthly newsletter for crime writers and readers, featuring blurbs about upcoming novels, interviews with authors and giveaways to subscribers. His latest thriller, “No Home for Killers,” arrives in February from Thomas and Mercer.
